Grunge sweat, indie riffs, punk hearts—Auckland’s loudest night returns!
Downstairs, DJ Doomscroll spins a full-throttle set of 90s and 2000s rock—grunge, alt, punk, post-hardcore, and the underground favourites you still know by heart. Expect the big names and the forgotten gems: Nirvana, The Cure, Pixies, R.E.M., Soundgarden, Bush, and Foo Fighters. Then shift gears into Arctic Monkeys, Modest Mouse, Death Cab, and Interpol. It’s loud, sweaty, and made for anyone who spent their youth in record stores or band tees.
We’re going deep with Paramore, Muse, Finch, Thursday, Alexisonfire, and Refused. And the punk thread runs strong: Green Day, Jawbreaker, Bad Religion, NOFX, The Offspring. It’s a mixtape of the misfits and the headliners—from Placebo and Everclear to The Vines, BRMC, The Dandy Warhols, Oasis, and Blur. Some tracks hit nostalgia, some just hit hard. Either way, they’ll sound better under venue lights and low ceilings.
