The Rock 2000 ends. We begin.

Every year, The Rock 2000 delivers the ultimate live rock experience—thousands of fans, two thousand tracks, and a final blowout at Spark Arena that shakes the city. This year’s lineup is monumental: Blindspott performing their debut album with a full orchestra, Tadpole’s return, and a crowd riding the high of New Zealand’s biggest rock ritual.

But when the curtain drops and the arena empties, the night isn’t over.

Ding Dong Lounge invites you to The Unofficial Afterparty! A no-frills, high-voltage descent into distortion, sweat, and scene energy. Not affiliated, just essential.

On Friday 26 September, DJ InAgony and guests take over, spinning rock and metal until 4am. No orchestras. No velvet ropes. Just the real ones keeping the night alive.
