Ever wanted to jump behind the decks and play the music you think works best in the room? Now’s your chance. We’re opening up the booth to anyone keen to give DJing a go—no experience needed. Just RSVP with your name and email, show up on the night, and we’ll get you on the decks. You’ll be judged… but mostly cheered.


We’ve got pro gear and access to a massive music library via Tidal, so you’ll have everything you need to build a killer set. No need to bring USBs or crates—just bring your taste, your timing, and a sense of what makes the room tick.


Ding Dong Lounge is a rock dive bar. That means guitar-driven, drum-heavy, emotionally charged music that gets people moving. If your set sounds like a demolition site, it better be the kind of chaos the whole bar’s asking for. Otherwise, think about what builds…

At Ding Dong Lounge and Dead Witch, we want everyone to enjoy live music in an environment where they feel safe, respected and welcome. Harassment, intimidation, unwanted sexual behaviour, discrimination and violence have no place at our events. We ask everyone to respect personal boundaries and consent, look out for one another and help create a positive and inclusive community.

If you experience or witness behaviour that makes you feel unsafe or uncomfortable, please speak to the Duty Manager or a member of our team as soon as possible. We take concerns seriously and will assess each situation to determine the most appropriate response.

We have a zero-tolerance approach to harassment, unwanted sexual behaviour, discrimination and violence. Depending on the circumstances, our team may intervene, refuse entry, remove individuals from the venue and/or involve Police. Our goal is simple: to ensure Ding Dong Lounge and Dead Witch remain places where everyone can enjoy live music with confidence.
