Rancho Mirage are throwing a release party for their debut single Affluenza, and you’re invited to witness the sonic storm live. With support from sludge doom allies Skitch Hiker, this night promises crushing riffs, soaring vocals, and a heavy dose of scene-authentic energy.
Formed in Auckland during lockdown, Rancho Mirage reunites Bevan, Sam, and Ant, three ex–Hunt The Witch members, now joined by Julian on drums. Their sound blends sludgy guitars, grooving rhythms, and ethereal vocals into something both relentless and otherworldly. Affluenza, born from one of Bevan’s signature riffs and Sam’s sharp lyrical lens, explores society’s obsession with wealth and excess, a hypnotic anthem for the age of mimicry.
