Expected Behaviour

We ask everyone at Ding Dong Lounge and Dead Witch to:

• Treat others with respect and consideration

• Respect personal boundaries and consent

• Be mindful of how your actions and behaviour affect others

• Support an environment where people feel welcome and included

• Follow directions from venue staff and event organisers

 

Unacceptable Behaviour

Unacceptable behaviour includes, but is not limited to:

• Sexual harassment, unwanted sexual behaviour or unwanted physical contact

• Bullying, intimidation, threats or aggressive behaviour

• Discrimination based on race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age, or any other personal characteristic

• Offensive, abusive or inappropriate comments or behaviour

• Tampering with another person's drink or deliberately putting another person's safety at risk.

• Behaviour that makes others feel unsafe, uncomfortable or unwelcome

• Any behaviour that breaches venue rules, licence conditions or the law

 

Performers, Promoters and Event Teams

 

Everyone involved in delivering events at Ding Dong Lounge and Dead Witch, including performers, DJs, promoters, contractors and staff, is expected to uphold these standards and contribute to a safe and respectful environment.

 

Reporting Concerns

 

If you experience or witness behaviour that makes you feel uncomfortable or unsafe, please speak with a member of our team or the venue Duty Manager.

 

You do not need to wait until something becomes serious. If something doesn't feel right, we encourage you to let us know so we can respond appropriately.

 

Responding to Breaches

 

We take concerns seriously. Depending on the circumstances, we may take action including speaking with those involved, refusing entry, removing people from the venue, cancelling participation in events, restricting future access, or involving Police where appropriate.

 

By attending, performing at, or working with Ding Dong Lounge or Dead Witch, you agree to respect this Code of Conduct and help create an environment where everyone can enjoy being part of our community.
