The music of Lanę is hushed, stripped back dream folk inspired by alternative groups of the '80s and '90s, including Sparklehorse, Portishead and Mazzy Star.
Lanę recorded her debut with producer Brett Shaw (Florence and the Machine) in London, United Kingdom. She divides her time between Australia and New Zealand.
