The Ding Dong Band Competition 2025 continues with Heat Two, as another wave of Auckland’s original bands step up to earn their place in the semi-finals. With only two spots available, every act knows the stakes—and every set becomes a statement. Expect bold performances, fresh sounds, and the kind of crowd energy that turns a gig into a moment. Judges will select two bands to advance, but every artist will bring something unique to the night. Whether you’re backing your mates or chasing the thrill of discovering something new, this is the night to show up early and stay loud. Doors open at 8PM, first band hits at 8:30PM. Early bird presales are $10, general admission presales are $20, and door sales are $25 if presales don’t sell out. R18. Lineup will be announced closer to the date, but bands can sign up now at here. The competition runs October…
