More Details
Two floors of trouble at Ding Dong Lounge and Dead Witch this Friday.
Dead Witch is getting loud with Cootie Cuties and Mistress bringing punk, glam metal and rock ’n’ roll to the upstairs stage.
Cootie Cuties are Tāmaki Makaurau punk sweethearts serving up sugary melodies, huge pop-punk hooks and plenty of political bite. Their debut album 2 Cute 2 Die landed in 2025 and their live show packs the sweetness with a few jawbreaking haymakers.
Mistress bring the glam. The Auckland three-piece channel the loud, dirty spirit of ’80s hard rock with big riffs and proper rock ’n’ roll attitude.
Downstairs, Andrew Boak aka Wastemaster is back in Aotearoa for a visit, taking over the Ding Dong decks with a stack of punk, rock and suitably filthy selections. Then at midnight, Blitz Da Māori takes over and keeps things going until close.
Bands upstairs. DJs downstairs. Double the trouble.
