Wednesday 3 December — When Auckland Town Hall goes dark, Ding Dong Lounge lights up.


Garbage returns to Aotearoa for the first time since 2013, and when the final note fades inside the Town Hall, the night’s not over. The unofficial afterparty kicks off at Ding Dong Lounge, just a short walk from the venue.


For the fans who’ve lived through Stupid Girl, Only Happy When It Rains, I Think I’m Paranoid, and No Gods No Masters—this is your second wind.

DJ Charlotte Gloom will be spinning alt-rock, grunge, and 90s/2000s anthems in the main bar all night long. Expect deep cuts, era-defining hits, and the kind of tracks that shaped a generation. No filler. No apologies.


Need fuel between singalongs? Our late-night menu includes Korean fried chicken, curly fries, mac & cheese bites, jalapeño poppers, and vegan onion rings—crowd favourites built for post-show cravings.
