Grapehouse bring their high‑energy, emotionally charged blend of indie rock and shoegaze to Dead Witch on Wednesday 22 July, with the four‑piece Ysabel “Mae” Aguas, Jennifer Fetesio, Elena Yeo and Darland Kenyon — delivering the raw, dreamy intensity that’s made them one of Auckland’s most exciting emerging bands. Formed out of university bands and clubs, their sound moves between hard‑hitting riffs and atmospheric textures, creating a live experience that feels both urgent and immersive.
They’re joined by Lee Connor, an emerging Auckland singer‑songwriter and multi‑instrumentalist whose presence in the Aotearoa underground scene continues to grow. Her dynamic sets shift between acoustic vulnerability and genre‑bending rock and pop, bringing a high‑voltage energy that complements Grapehouse’s sonic weight while adding his own distinct emotional edge.
Entry is through Ding Dong Lounge, where Happy Hour drink specials run from 7pm–8pm and the full food menu is available all night.

We have a zero-tolerance approach to harassment, unwanted sexual behaviour, discrimination and violence. Depending on the circumstances, our team may intervene, refuse entry, remove individuals from the venue and/or involve Police. Our goal is simple: to ensure Ding Dong Lounge and Dead Witch remain places where everyone can enjoy live music with confidence.
