Napoleon Baby hit Dead Witch on Wednesday 18 March, bringing their razor‑edged post‑punk firepower to the upstairs room at Ding Dong Lounge for a night that’s equal parts confrontation, catharsis, and beautifully controlled chaos.
Auckland/London post‑punk trio Napoleon Baby arrive armed with their debut album Everybody’s Watching and Nobody Cares — a record built to disrupt, provoke, and demand something better from a world that keeps choosing the worst people to idolise.
Their sound is a volatile mix of lo‑fi grit, angular indie, and socially charged fury, drawing from St. Vincent, Radiohead, QOTSA, The Stooges, The Jam, and the rebellious spirit of American alt‑rock.
