Summer can be a pain. Your routine’s wrecked, half your friends are still away, everyone’s on holiday and suddenly no one wants to go out. Add to that the fact you blew your cash over Christmas and New Year, and the city feels dead..... fewer bands, fewer shows, not much to do.
That’s where Ding Dong Lounge comes in. Two nights of pure rock to break the monotony, shake off the holiday haze, and remind you why live music matters.
It’s a two‑level party: DJs keep the main bar at Ding Dong Lounge alive, while upstairs Dead Witch hosts the bands.
FRIDAY 16 JAN – The Heavy Chapter
Steel Tap, Sovereign and guest to bring the riffs and raw power.
Downstairs, DJs R3y & Not Blitz Da Maori keep the floor moving all night.
