Heat One marks the beginning of Ding Dong Lounge’s annual band competition—a multi-week showdown where emerging acts battle for career-launching prizes and scene-wide recognition. Two bands will advance to the semi-finals, but every set is a chance to connect, impress, and leave a mark.


Tin Roof (Indie Pop Rock)

James Elliott (drums), Neil Morrison (bass/vocals), and Johnny Glass (guitar/vocals) form Tin Roof—an indie-pop-rock trio known for cunning melodies, wry lyrics, and a refreshing take on modern music. Their sound is genuine, their vibe unpretentious, and their friendship occasionally hug-worthy.


Monolith (Metal)

This five-piece metal force blends Dan’s crushing growls with Georgia’s soaring melodic vocals, layered over heavy riffs built for moshing. Monolith’s high-energy live show is a full-body experience—brutal, beautiful, and unforgettable.
