Goth Night returns to Ding Dong Lounge for its Halloween Edition, bringing two levels of post-punk, gothic rock, darkwave and industrial sounds to Auckland city centre.


Since launching in 2022, Goth Night has become a staple of Auckland’s alternative scene, bringing together goths, post-punk purists, darkwave dancers and anyone curious enough to step into the underground.

Tauranga legends The Mercy Cage bring their distinctive blend of electro-industrial, darkwave and gothic sounds. Formed in 1999 out of alt/goth-rock group The Altar, the band have spent decades carving out their own place in New Zealand’s underground electronic and industrial scene.
