More Details
General Kala, Anarchy In Eden and Dolmacher take over Dead Witch on Saturday 26 September for a night of synth-driven sounds, post-punk, gothic rock, darkwave and electronic dance-rock.
Three Auckland acts bringing very different takes on the darker side of alternative music, from vintage analogue synthesis and progressive rock influences to brooding post-punk and dancefloor-ready darkwave.
General Kala
Taking their lead from classic analogue-synth acts of the late 1970s and early ’80s, alongside progressive and rock luminaries of the era, General Kala blend vintage synthesis and syncopated rhythms with visceral, soaring and melodic dance compositions.
Anarchy In Eden
Auckland’s Anarchy In Eden bring gritty post-punk and gothic rock with serrated guitars, industrial edges, bleak romanticism and plenty of emotional weight.
