Tuesday 17 February — When The Darkness leave the stage at the Powerstation, Ding Dong Lounge turns it up.
The UK’s most flamboyant rock royalty return to Auckland, and when the final falsetto fades, the afterparty begins. Ding Dong Lounge is just a short rideshare or taxi away—or hop on the bus from the stop directly outside the Powerstation and head downtown.
For the fans who’ve screamed I Believe In A Thing Called Love, slow-danced to Love Is Only A Feeling, and are ready to hear Dreams On Toast live for the first time—this is your encore.
Our DJs will be spinning glam rock, classic rock, and high-voltage anthems from the 70s, 80s, 2000s and beyond. Expect guitar solos, big choruses, and the kind of tracks that make you throw your drink in the air and sing like you mean it.
